About The Position

Specialty Job Functions Assign field staff appropriately to match the needs of the client Maintain proactive attitude in staffing new clients and proper service delivery for existing clients Act as customer service liaison in all interactions with clients, caregivers and care managers Verify field staff are performing services when scheduled and as prescribed Schedule and complete field visits to clients in homes to assure client’s satisfaction with services Maintain client and employee confidentiality as outlined in policies and procedures Assure privacy of all data electronically transferred Maintain and submit required and/or requested records/reports to appropriate person Maintain weekly schedules for all field staff including field floaters and update with changes Perform on call responsibilities when assigned to be on call Work with staff proactively to minimize missed visits Attend in-services, seminars and educational courses as required for professional growth and development Assist with planning of quarterly in-service training for Direct Care Partners Update hospital admissions and discharges daily for county consumers Enter reportable events in PA event reporting systems in a timely fashion Maintain awareness of contract program requirements for service contracts and assures adherence to contract regulations Verify payroll prior to deadline and assure accuracy of timesheets Allegheny County Supervisor(s) coordinate and direct all aspects of payroll preparation for Allegheny County File or assist in filing payroll-related reporting Perform and submit accurate billing for Allegheny County option through SAMS and Westmoreland County through Co-Pilot; assist billing department to adjust claims as needed Perform data entry for Allegheny County options timesheets for billing as needed Assist with accuracy of all PDA and Independence Waiver Billing and all county operations Other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma and minimum 1 year previous experience as a staffing coordinator/scheduler in home health setting
  • Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills, and sound judgment.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience.
  • PA Act 34 Pennsylvania Access to Criminal History Clearance.
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree in business management preferred.
  • Two (2) to Four (4) years supervisory/management experience in home care.
  • Experience in Healthcare setting.
