About The Position

The Supervisor – IDAP Apollo Operations is responsible for providing shift leadership in the Apollo Device Assembly and Packaging area. This role involves daily operations, including ensuring the safety of the area, compliance with all policies, procedures, and training, and the development of operators. The supervisor is also responsible for scheduling resources according to the production plan and resolving production issues. Key objectives include demonstrating and delivering a strong safety culture, ensuring strong quality performance in accordance with established procedures, and adhering to all cGMP requirements. The supervisor will staff device assembly lines with trained/qualified operators, supervise, develop, and coach operators, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity, driving these improvements. Communication with area leadership and support personnel on safety, quality, engineering, and operational issues is crucial, as is initiating and leading Trackwise events for safety/quality incidents.

Requirements

  • Strong safety and quality mindset
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Knowledge of and experience with cGMP requirements
  • Basic computer skills including SAP, PMX, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
  • Ability to communicate to various levels of the organization (operators, maintenance, engineers, managers, etc)
  • Process improvement mindset
  • Ability to work overtime as required
  • Device Assembly or Packaging Operations experience
  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Responsibilities

  • Providing shift leadership in Apollo Device Assembly and Packaging area
  • Ensuring safety of the area
  • Ensuring compliance with all policies/procedures/training
  • Development of operators
  • Ensuring resources are scheduled accordingly per the production plan
  • Helping resolve any production issues
  • Demonstrating and delivering a strong safety culture for the shift
  • Delivering strong quality performance for the shift in accordance with established procedures
  • Ensuring the shift follows all cGMP requirements
  • Ensuring staffing of the device assembly lines with trained/qualified operators
  • Supervising, developing, and coaching operators
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, quality and productivity, and driving improvement in these areas
  • Communicating with area leadership and support personnel on safety, quality, engineering, and operational issues
  • Initiating and leading Trackwise events for safety/quality incidents that occur in the area
