Ocean Beach Club Resort and Oceanaire team are hiring a Supervisor Housekeeping in Virginia Beach. Apply now to join our journey to success! A Supervisor Housekeeping, provides excellent service to guests and owners during their stay, being proactive and responsive to guests’ concerns and inquiries. Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Flexible Schedule, ability to work weekends & holidays
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing work volumes and staffing
  • Previous Supervisory Experience
  • Housekeeping Experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests
  • Physically able to work from ladders, move furniture, operate cleaning equipment, and tolerate exposure to general cleaning chemicals.
  • Ability to tolerate environmental factors such as humidity, cold/heat, dust and noise

Responsibilities

  • Supervises housekeeping operations to include rooms, common area and heart of the house areas to achieve and maintain the resort's high standards of cleanliness.
  • Supervises projects and processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and maintenance procedures, write routine reports and correspondence, speak effectively before groups of guests and team members as needed.
  • Demonstrate basic mathematical skills, and ability to solve practical problems.
  • Understand and comply with a variety of instructions in written and oral form.
  • Demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provides guidance and directions to subordinates.
  • Regular attendance in keeping with guidelines established by the company and site are essential to the successful performance of this position.
