Requirements

  • At least 5 years work experience in Home Health Scheduling.
  • Leadership and management oversight experience in Home Health Scheduling.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including, Excel, Outlook, Power-Point, and Word.
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws and industry practices.

  • Adept knowledge of Home Health Scheduling, Home Health Scheduling, and HCHB best practices.
  • Strong leadership, initiative, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Articulately relate to people at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts between individuals with successful outcomes.
  • Master’s degree in health care administration preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership and Development
  • Setting clear direction, effective plans, and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the scheduling team, including scheduling coordinators, administrators, and support staff, to foster a patient-centered, high-performance work environment.
  • Identify training needs and provide ongoing education to ensure the team is well-versed in scheduling procedures, compliance, and customer service standards.
  • Ensuring work is accomplished effectively by managing employee performance, work processes and other resources.
  • Engaging employees to maximize their discretionary effort.
  • Developing a pipeline of excellent talent to fill future business needs.
  • Customer Service Focus
  • Serve as point of scheduling contact for teams via phone, email, chat, or in person
  • Address inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving
