About The Position

DP World in Fairburn, GA is looking for a confident, proactive, and safety-driven Health & Safety Supervisor who's ready to take charge of daily safety operations and elevate our culture of protection and compliance. In this leadership role, you'll guide the site's safety efforts - conducting inspections, coaching employees, supporting investigations, leading training, and ensuring we meet all regulatory and company standards. You'll work closely with the Health & Safety Manager and Operations teams to spot risks early, drive corrective actions, and reinforce safe behaviors across the facility. Responsibilities

Assist in the identification, development and administration of company safety training programs.
Monitor, revise, and implement ongoing updates in safety regulations, laws or reporting requirements. Providing technical safety and health support and information to all employees.
Coordinate and administer safety training initiatives for the company to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and all other regulatory requirements.
Administer mandatory environmental, health and safety training and ensure all newly hired employees, agency employees, contractors, visitors and transferred employees receive proper training.
Assist with the enforcement of regulatory regulations and company policies.Assist with launches of new facilities in relation to EHS programs
Ensure compliance to audit standards and work with auditors and vendors to answer findings and complaints in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
Ensure employees operate in a safe, orderly, and clean environment. Involved in the development of work procedures and makes health and safety recommendations accordingly.
Review injury/illness and non-injury incident investigation reports and follows up as necessary.
Recommend process and product safety features that will reduce employees' exposure to work hazards.
Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety and environmental regulation compliance. This will include property in and around the facility.
Review plans and specifications for development of new machinery, equipment or processes to determine whether all safety requirements have been met.
Serve as a member of the First Aid/CPR Responder/ERT teams.
