About The Position

DP World in Fairburn, GA is looking for a confident, proactive, and safety-driven Health & Safety Supervisor who's ready to take charge of daily safety operations and elevate our culture of protection and compliance. In this leadership role, you'll guide the site's safety efforts - conducting inspections, coaching employees, supporting investigations, leading training, and ensuring we meet all regulatory and company standards. You'll work closely with the Health & Safety Manager and Operations teams to spot risks early, drive corrective actions, and reinforce safe behaviors across the facility. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the identification, development and administration of company safety training programs.
  • Monitor, revise, and implement ongoing updates in safety regulations, laws or reporting requirements. Providing technical safety and health support and information to all employees.
  • Coordinate and administer safety training initiatives for the company to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and all other regulatory requirements.
  • Administer mandatory environmental, health and safety training and ensure all newly hired employees, agency employees, contractors, visitors and transferred employees receive proper training.
  • Assist with the enforcement of regulatory regulations and company policies.Assist with launches of new facilities in relation to EHS programs
  • Ensure compliance to audit standards and work with auditors and vendors to answer findings and complaints in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
  • Ensure employees operate in a safe, orderly, and clean environment. Involved in the development of work procedures and makes health and safety recommendations accordingly.
  • Review injury/illness and non-injury incident investigation reports and follows up as necessary.
  • Recommend process and product safety features that will reduce employees' exposure to work hazards.
  • Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety and environmental regulation compliance. This will include property in and around the facility.
  • Review plans and specifications for development of new machinery, equipment or processes to determine whether all safety requirements have been met.
  • Serve as a member of the First Aid/CPR Responder/ERT teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.
