About The Position

Through professional knowledge, demeanor and an enthusiastic attitude the Supervisor will establish an excellent level of service required to provide all Resort guests with an exceptional first impression. They will explain the services Valet can offer & ensure all Valet staff completes each ticket thoroughly for service & billing purposes. The supervisor is the ambassador upon guest arrival, thus they will primarily coordinate the service needs with our Guest Service staff in the Porte Cohere and be the point person in directing traffic through the PC. They will be responsible for the billing for valet revenues, and valet budget, as well as assisting the Guest Services manager with the supervision of the bell/valet team. Their mission is to exceed any expectations that our guests may have & provide professional guest service at all times. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Minimum of one year supervisory experience in a high volume setting preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and provide directions in a clear, concise, and professional manner in both verbal and written form.
  • Demonstrate ability to compute basic arithmetic.
  • Must be available to work varied shifts and flexible schedules.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hospitality experience in a Four Diamond quality organization preferred.
  • Previous experience with Windows, Office, and property management systems highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Guest Service and valet associates
  • Communicate with supervisors and manger
  • Review arrivals/departures/VIP’s list, PEAK daily standard and MOD information and cover with Guest Services and valet associates
  • Responsible for efficient, safe and friendly arrival and departure of Resort guests.
  • S.E.E (Smile, Eye contact, Engage)
  • Fair handling of revenues to the Resort & the teeam with clear explanations to each guest.
  • Provide warm and sincere welcome/farewell for all guests of Resort including use of guest name.

  • Ensure that Valet staff operates all vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure that damage to any vehicle be documented upon arrival before parking the vehicle.
  • Establish service standard and guide valet staff through professional leadership modeling.
  • Ensure proper scheduling to business levels and monitors payroll daily.
  • Provide useful information and assistance as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the porte cohere, and parking lot areas.
  • Ensuring fire lanes are kept clear.
  • Personally escort guests to reception agent, provide reception agent with luggage claim tag.
  • Be knowledgeable of emergency procedures.
  • Keep ADA parking clear for ADA needs ONLY.
  • Maintain a positive attitude at all times with the guest and the team
  • Fast efficient and friendly assistance
  • Ensure a high level of customer Service
  • General knowledge of all resort activities , ie…. ski, golf , restaurants , ect.
  • Know where the outlets are and hours of operations
  • Be knowledgeable about surrounding area
  • Implement and maintain training of Guest Service and valet staff
  • Maintain continuity of Porte Cochere.
  • Monitor payroll performance
  • Assist with coaching and counseling of associates
  • Make certain valet revenue has been posted daily
  • Attend resort meetings as directed
  • Adjust personal schedule to align with business needs
  • Assist with snow removal as needed.
