About The Position

JCCC inspires learning to transform lives and strengthen communities. The Food Court Supervisor supports this mission by overseeing daily food court operations to ensure high standards of food quality, safety, customer service, and operational efficiency. This role leads, trains, schedules, and supports team members while fostering a positive, professional work environment. The supervisor ensures compliance with health, safety, cash handling, and company policies; manages inventory, labor, and POS functions; resolves guest concerns; and performs frontline duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma.
  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • Must be able to pass ServeSafe Certification once employed.

Responsibilities

  • Staff Leadership & Training: Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate food court employees to support professional growth, operational efficiency, teamwork, and positive morale. Assist with training team members on food preparation methods, portion control, food handling, and customer service best practices. Schedule staff and manage daily labor coverage to meet operational demands and budget guidelines. Lead by example by adhering to company policies, appearance standards, and service expectations.
  • Customer Service & Guest Relations: Deliver excellent customer service by warmly greeting guests, resolving concerns, and fostering a positive, welcoming environment. Address and resolve customer complaints or operational issues promptly and professionally. Perform the work of those position supervises.
  • Food Quality, Safety & Sanitation: Enforce food safety standards, including proper temperature control, allergen awareness, and hygiene practices. Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary work areas; ensure daily and periodic cleaning schedules are properly completed and documented.
  • Inventory & Operational Oversight: Manage inventory levels by ordering supplies in accordance with sales trends, forecasts, and operational needs while minimizing waste. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities; report maintenance or repair needs as necessary.
  • Financial & POS Management: Oversee Point of Sale (POS) operations, including maintaining menu items, pricing updates, and system accuracy. Monitor cash handling procedures and ensure compliance with cash control policies. Review, maintain, and approve employee timekeeping and payroll records to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Reporting & Administrative Support: Support management with reporting, performance tracking, and operational planning.
