About The Position

The Food Court Attendant is responsible for working as a cashier for Food Court outlets and delivering food orders to guest’s tables while maintaining the cleanliness of the Food Court area. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides an upbeat and pleasant atmosphere, greeting guests as they enter the Food Court, answering any questions they may have. Maintains full knowledge of what the Food Court outlets have to offer including all updated specials. Processes payments and monitors cash drawer for organization while keeping the drawer balanced. Runs food orders from Food Court outlets to guests’ tables ensuring quality and accuracy of food orders. Promptly cleans tables and resets tables for the next guest. Maintains cleanliness and organization of the Food Court and service area. Completes all required side work as assigned by Management. Demonstrates exceptional guest service by having an excellent attitude when dealing with guests and Team Members. Closely follows the F&B department health and personal hygiene policy. Other duties as directed by management. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and can occasionally reach a high level for short periods of time.

Requirements

  • Minimum age requirement for this position is 18 years old.
  • Must have an OLCC Permit at the time of hire.
  • Possess or obtain a Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means.
  • Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.
  • Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
  • Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events.
  • Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
  • Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend and squat frequently.
  • Must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed.
