The Supervisor of Vehicle Maintenance provides leadership and oversight to a diverse workforce for assigned maintenance locations (garages) within Duke Energy's Fleet Services. Fleet Services manages over 14 thousand vehicles/mobile equipment. Key responsibilities include ensuring the execution of maintenance and repair work, providing strong leadership, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, ANSI, DOT, and maintenance standards, managing work schedules, and recording tasks in the work management system. The role also involves coordinating with customer contacts, managing business/financial aspects of assigned garages, identifying and addressing workplace barriers, and communicating organizational plans. Safety, environmental compliance, productivity, and quality are critical components, and the position is responsible for employee development and performance management.
