Supervises and direct assigned technicians, installers and repair professionals. Primary function is managing the scheduling of installations, both drop installations bot buried and aerial installations. As well as maintaining network integrity by provider superior customer service in the installation of customer fiber optic based broadband internet access, video and VOIP services. And customer service installations to the complete satisfaction of the customer. Secondary function is the support of special projects and supporting repairs when needed.

Requirements

  • High School or equivalent required. BA/BS preferred. Other post-secondary training or education will be considered if applicable to position.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in utility operations in an installation function or equivalent.
  • Construction experience, utility experience, water, sewer, electric or telephony.
  • Scheduling and managing workflows in systems.
  • Knowledge in broadband fiber preferred.
  • Participates in requested call rotation.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Competent in the most common computer programs and applications like MS Office, Email, Web browsing and research.
  • Can navigate most computer based applications common in the contemporary workplace.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory experience in construction or project management preferred.
