About The Position

The Supervisor, Field Meter Office is responsible for the onboarding, training and day-to-day leadership of Operations Associates staff, as well as coordinating their work for the department and working with other divisions on meter work within the Missouri Customer Operations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Five or more years of relevant experience (e.g., field operations, etc.) required.
  • Must demonstrate working knowledge of commonly accepted administrative processes, analyze data and work, and ability to work in a confidential office environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and use of PowerBI.
  • Strong communication skills are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Ameren Map Viewer is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train clerical employees and coordinate their work for the support of System Meter operations.
  • Provide support and train field workers on administrative items.
  • Maintain knowledge of all systems (WorkDay, TRIS, CSS, OAS, Command Center, MMS, ARCOS, and Maximo [info only] ) and processes (staffing, testing, etc.) applicable to operations and System Meter specific processes.
  • Coordinate overall employee training (safety, employee development, etc.).
  • Ensure consistent clerical work practices and processes are implemented.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with Division and Department supervisors and engineering to ensure proper clerical staffing and support is being provided to operations.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by the Manager/Superintendent including planning informational meetings.
  • Participate in task teams as required. Teams include Safety team and HR Partners.
  • Utilize Continuous Improvement thinking and methodologies to identify and help lead and support business process improvements.
  • Act as Company representative in matters relating to grievances and contract issues for clerical employees.
  • Perform annual periodic reviews of employee performance and attendance records.
