Requirements

Technical Associates degree is preferred.
Five years related experience is required.
Prior experience in a healthcare setting is required.

Responsibilities

Responsible for buildings and utility systems throughout the hospital.
Establishes work schedules.
Manage the ordering of supplies and services to maintain expenses within budget.
Oversees accomplishment of services.
Respond to building system casualties and takes immediate action to restore services.
Tracks preventive maintenance to ensure Maintenance Mechanics and Senior Maintenance Mechanics accomplish assigned tasks within the month assigned.
Assigns tasks and repairs to Maintenance Mechanics and Senior Maintenance Mechanics and verifies that assignments are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
Assesses training needs and arranges for needed training.
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as needed.
