About The Position
The Supervisor of Environmental Services is an exciting opportunity supervising EVS and linen staff, plans, activities and functions. In this role, you will ensure patients and families have the best possible experience when visiting a MultiCare facility.
Requirements
- Associates degree or two years of experience in lieu of degree will be considered
- Three (3) years of experience in environmental services or acute care related support departments required
- Previous experience and demonstrated skills in a supervisory or lead capacity required
- Experience working in a union environment
Responsibilities
- Administer management functions within the provisions of MultiCare policies and standards and federal, state and local regulations
- Ensure department operations are conducted in a manner consistent with Joint Commission, Department of Health, and MultiCare system standards
- Ensure floor care and other project work is performed as scheduled
- Assist in performing quality improvement initiatives, as requested
