Supervise activities related to developing, communicating and implementing corporate-wide communication strategies and employee experience capabilities in support of Corporate projects impacting a cross-section of employee audiences. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a business-related environment
  • Demonstrated experience in working with and influencing senior management and Board members
  • Strong conflict management skills
  • Proficient at facilitating meetings across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate information to a wide variety of technical and non-technical individuals or groups at all levels of the organization
  • Regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job duties

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain consistent approaches to managing corporate project and human resources communication and employee experience needs to multiple internal audiences.
  • Receive resource requests from communication leads, assess resource availability, and assign lead resources to projects.
  • Support development and provide management review of communication plans and related materials.
  • Ensure the Company brand is reflected in communication plan tactics and key messaging.
  • Ensure project-related copy is written following brand copy guidelines.
  • Work with division management to assess and request resources for communication work outside of the team of direct reports.
  • Establish and maintain effective ways of managing matrixed relationships with other units within Human Resources.
  • Consult with key business partners, working to integrate their strategies and initiatives with employee-focused initiatives to ensure message consistency and brand integration.
  • Lead and support team in ensuring integrated communication approaches that leverage multiple channels and touch points.
  • Maintain processes and procedures to ensure appropriate review, notification and distribution of materials created.
  • Understand and provide oversight for project and other communication budgets when assessing tactical recommendations.
  • Identify and assign resources to meet business objectives.
  • Identify staff training needs based upon enterprise needs and priorities.
  • Assure effective communications are maintained within the unit and externally.
