Projects are throughout the Connecticut and Western MA. Transmission Underground (UG) Supervisor – CT/WMA The Transmission Underground (UG) Supervisor for the CT/WMA region oversees underground transmission lines, vaults , and three Cross Sound underwater cables spanning two states. The system is currently undergoing significant modernization. Current responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: CBYD (Call Before You Dig) responses Encroachment investigations Project coordination across multiple internal and external groups, including: Capital Projects Substations Testing Contractors Asset Management Interference dig support and on-site oversight Cathodic protection system investigation, repair, and replacement Vault inspections and coordination DGA gas sampling and testing Emergency response Emergency spare parts management for all three states Budget preparation and management Employee safety audits Training coordination, including: Supervisor-led training Contractor training Training department–led programs
