What You Will Do as a Customization Supervisor in Sewing: Communicate job expectations and coach/counsel direct reports. Responsible for supervising assigned associates in the Sewing department on 1st shift to achieve maximum production, quality, and cost control. Duties include monitoring the flow of production, providing training and counseling, resolving issues, creating production reports, and tracking attendance. Responsible for ensuring safety standards, quality of work, and company policies are maintained, all while processing assigned orders within the shipping requirements. Support all internal and external customers by meeting all service requirements and expectations. Communicate with all levels of personnel and will be trained on several different tasks in the department to fill in where needed. How You Will Make a Difference: As a Customization Supervisor in Sewing, you will make a difference by focusing on training, quality control, and safety, while also managing a team and optimizing the production process. You will ensure product standards are met by training employees, troubleshooting machinery, and enforcing safety regulations. Supervisors also improve efficiency by managing schedules, reassigning workers, and collaborating with other departments. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years’ experience in a customization or distribution environment is preferred.
  • One (1) or more years of supervisory/leadership experience required.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Excel, and Word).
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written - fluent in English), strong interpersonal skills, and strong basic math skills.
  • High attention to detail and quality, and able to flourish in a fast- paced environment.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and the ability to work with others positively.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, work overtime, and/or weekends if needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.
