About The Position

The Supervisor will oversee, supervise, and direct employees in maintaining the
cleanliness of buildings in assigned areas.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2 yrs. experience in janitorial duties.
• 1 yr. experience in floor care.
• Ability to read and write.
• Must have proficient PC skills with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be physically mobile in different settings and layouts.
• Must be able to work with people with disabilities.
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and work with a diverse workforce.
• Must have basic knowledge of maintenance and custodial work.
• Must be able to perform all janitorial tasks on a daily basis.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. or more.
• Must have the ability to follow instructions, including safety procedures and correct safety issues, if possible.
• Maintains First Aid Certification.
• Must attend all mandatory training sessions as assigned.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must be able to obtain a Federal Security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Keeps a daily checklist of all cleaning activities.
• Supervises employees on off-site jobs, working with them to ensure all tasks are completed to standard, per S.O.W. and within the allotted time.
• Meets with Project Manager to ensure the cohesiveness of the on-site supervision.
• Responds to requests from customer/tenants for immediate clean-up.
• Maintains attendance and sign in/sign out sheet on a daily basis.
• Tracks the use of all cleaning equipment and utensils; to include cleaning towels.
• Reports any broken or damaged equipment to the Project Manager within 24 hours.
• Reports any needed cleaning supplies to Project Manager.
• Sends and responds to emails pertaining to operation.
• Reads and abides by Statement of Work (SOW) for the contract.
• Reads and abides by Quality Control Program implemented for the contract.
• Reads and abides by the AbilityOne Handbook.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
