Under the general guidance of the Program Manager, Youth Education and Career Pathways, the Supervisor is responsible for planning and implementing vocational training programs that prepare adults with skills needed to successfully enter the workforce and/or transition into further training or education. Responsibilities include: oversight of College & Career Pathways team, curriculum development and direct instruction; training and supervision of staff as they provide education and career transitions services, vocational training, and community partnership development; participant outreach and recruitment; administrative oversight and reporting; quality improvement and contract compliance. The Supervisor will support senior management in the administration of programs. Frequent communication with program participants, staff, and community partners will be required. This position may supervise program volunteers and interns. Individual accountabilities and work volume will be established through the development of annual Success Objectives, within the framework outlined below. The Supervisor leverages industry knowledge and best practices to promote the mission and vision of Heartland Human Care Services. Supports organizational culture development and management efforts.
