About The Position

The Operations Supervisor manages hourly associates and temporary workers. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures. Responsibilities include coaching and training associates; planning, assigning and supervising work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements

3+ years of Supervisor related experience in a distribution, 3PL, warehouse and production environment.
Experience with WMS software including; Manhattan Scale or Red Prairie.
Excellent Microsoft Office suite experience.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Detail oriented.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work alone as well in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor Degree preferred.
Experience with ADP E-Time is a plus.

Responsibilities

Promotes a safe environment for the customer's product, associates, and temporary workers.
Follows established operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
Builds a positive teamwork environment by listening and communicating with all associates.
Provides corrective action as necessary to associates.
Helps maintain attendance records.
Monitors daily compliance with safety procedures.
Helps investigate accidents and prepares reports.
Provides on the job coaching and training needed to ensure associates skills are maintained at desired levels.
Helps coordinate vacations, payroll, and time sheets for associates and temporary workers, complaints and associate concerns productivity and quality of work.
Supports site operations leadership to ensure procedures are followed and customer satisfaction.
Other duties as assigned.
