Job Summary:

Administers a ministry that provides pastoral care, counseling and spiritual
support to patients, families and staff. Assists directors with the planning,
implementation and evaluation of accredited clinical pastoral education levels.
Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned personnel
using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in divinity or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
• Certified as Clinical Pastoral Education Supervisor: Required

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree: Preferred
• Five years' technical experience: Preferred
• Two years' experience as Associate Clinical Pastoral Education Supervisor, supervising and teaching Chaplain interns and residents: Preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all recruitment and admission aspects as well as curriculum development and program evaluation for all accredited clinical pastoral education levels.
• Provides instruction and supervision to chaplain interns, residents, and chaplain fellows in supervisory Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE). Coordinates with other teaching hospitals to plan and implement ongoing supervisory colloquiums for chaplain fellows engaged in supervisory CPE.
• Exercises independent judgment when recruiting, training, coaching, supervising and responsibly directing assigned staff.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
