About The Position

The Clinical Nutrition Supervisor is a clinical leader who supports the Clinical Nutrition Manager. The Clinical Nutrition Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations for the Registered Dietitians and ensure policies and procedures are being followed. Requirements

  • Applicable Experience: 1 year
  • Licensed Dietician (MO) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
  • Registered Dietitian - Commission of Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Bachelor's Degree - Dietetics

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring staff are meeting productivity targets
  • Analyzing daily volume of total patients, making adjustments to staffing as needed
  • Supporting budgets/completing variance reports
  • Ordering and managing tube feeding inventory
  • Providing support for completing payroll, bi-weekly scheduling for all entities, yearly completion of holiday and weekend schedules.
  • Supporting nutritional and allergen information completed for new recipes
  • Analyzing reports ensuring policies are being met, and communicating opportunities for improvement to staff
  • Serving on committees as assigned
  • Participating in the interview process and onboarding new employees
  • Completing units of service reports and sending to key stakeholders.
  • Filling gaps in RD schedule as needed
  • Providing therapeutic diet in-services to nutrition services staff
  • Completing yearly employee performance reviews
  • Attending meetings as assigned
  • Support to all entities when manager is out of office
  • Reviewing maintenance packets for clinical advancement program
  • Other projects and duties as assigned
