Schedule 5 – 8-hour shifts (Monday–Friday) Rotating weekend call Rotating holiday call What You’ll Do As a Central Sterile Processing Supervisor, you will coordinate the daily operations of the department and ensure seamless instrument and equipment processing — including cleaning, decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and distribution to caregivers in the Operating Room. You will: Lead a team of staff to ensure quality, efficiency, and accuracy in instrumentation delivery to the OR Oversee sterilization and processing in accordance with departmental standards, regulatory requirements, and professional best practices Drive performance improvement initiatives to reduce surgical instrument errors and streamline same-day turnaround processes Collaborate with the Operating Room and leadership to optimize instrument inventory, tracking systems, and count sheets Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for the instrument tracking system Support the consolidation and streamlining of instrument sets to enhance throughput and operational efficiency Ensure ordering, coordination, and timely return of instrumentation with missing critical components Maintain visibility and accessibility across the OR and Sterile Processing Department for proactive problem-solving Leadership & Team Development You won’t just manage processes — you’ll build people. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of Central Sterile Processing experience required
  • 2 years supervisory or team lead experience required
  • Strong communication skills with physicians, peers, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Ability to stand for the duration of shifts and lift/push/pull up to 35 pounds
  • Completion of 10 hours of continuing education annually to maintain qualification
  • Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) OR
  • Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) through HSPA
  • Act 34 Clearance
