In this role, you will assure that the standards of departmental operations are in compliance with the standards set by regulatory agencies, such as the state Department of Health, Joint Commission and others. Take responsibility for supervising and coordinating the activities of personnel in the department, involving sterile and medical supplies and equipment of use in the care and treatment of patients. Conduct employee competencies oversee a team of 8-10 technicians. You’ll be there as the voice of what’s effective and emerging in the business of central sterile care. This is a Full Time Day shift position working (7am - 3pm) with rotating weekend shifts. Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of Central Service experience
  • Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD)
