It is the responsibility of the Food Service Supervisor to perform a variety of duties to support the effective functioning of the department. These responsibilities include: managing all assigned retail areas, assisting in the monitoring and development of staff, creating and maintaining staff work schedules and timecard reports, monitoring and evaluating performance of staff, and all other HR functions such as discipline, FMLA management, etc. They are responsible for assisting with any of the job functions in the department if needed. The Food Service Supervisor ensures that cleaning assignments and projects are completed properly and adhere to the department’s policies and procedures. The Food Service Supervisor also ensures accuracy of recipes and recipe execution, conveys accurate nutritional information of all retail food items, and collaborates with other Food Service Supervisors to ensure quality and consistency of finished product across the ProHealth Care System.
