About The Position

Under the direction of the Cage Manager, the Supervisor, Cage Operations is responsible for the direct operation of the gaming cage and vault. This individual will be accountable for funds, balancing Cage Cashiers, verification of wins, handling customer disputes, enforcing department policies and procedures, and other duties as assigned. The role requires strong knowledge of Title 31 and tax requirements as pertains to the gaming operation, as well as a strong working knowledge of all areas of Cash Operations, excluding the drop & count.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2-3 years of related experience, one of which must be banking or Casino Cash Operations experience
  • Must be computer literate which includes operation of a windows computer, excel, word, and custom in house programs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Sufficient manual dexterity and visual acuity to perform the job functions in a fast, efficient manner.
  • Required to obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, prior to an offer being extended.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of college preferred

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
  • Be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with all departmental procedures, Title 31, and tax requirements.
  • Prepare and review Title 31 paperwork.
  • Receive, reconcile and manage an imprest safe as assigned.
  • Issue banks to and balance Cage Cashiers.
  • Perform even exchanges with and ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Vault.
  • Assist in performing staff reviews.
  • Enforce all departmental procedures and perform corrective action as required.
  • Manage the staff under their control to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Cage.
  • Ensure adequate inventories of all operational supplies.
  • Handle customer disputes in a professional manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
