About The Position

The Brewing Supervisor ensures that daily and weekly brewing tasks are completed on time and according to SOP’s while keeping Safety and Quality at the forefront. This role actively monitors fermentation efficiency, process performance, CIP effectiveness, and mentors and holds brewing operators accountable for safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Associate degree and/or equivalent experience, Bachelor’s preferred
  • 5+ Years of supervisory/leadership experience in manufacturing
  • Understanding of basic brewing process including fermentation science, A&C systems, and more
  • Leadership, communication, and ability to coach in a manufacturing setting

Nice To Haves

  • Brewing Certifications – Preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma or similar program experience

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all aspects of the brewing process, including kitting, batching, laboratory work, filtration, raw material unloading, control room operations, and inventory
  • Utilize understanding of fermentation science to monitor fermenter efficiency and movement
  • Monitor brewing process parameters such as ABV, DO, CO2 concentration, and more
  • Assist in shift scheduling and ensure proper staffing to meet production demands
  • Ensure complete, accurate records for inventory checks, quality inspections, sanitation, and CI; complete performance audits against SOPs
