Responsible for the daily supervision of PSR staff and functions. Works with the PSRs in changing registration processes to improve patient satisfaction. Establishes registration error standards and audits registration data. Provides continuous feedback to staff to reduce error and enhance workflow processes. Participates and coordinates staff training needs including new employee job training. Performs as a working supervisor to meet department staffing and volume fluctuations. Works with Manager/Director and providers to ensure provider schedules are efficient and free of scheduling issues. Works with PSRs to improve point of service collections to ensure financial stewardship. Is responsible with manager to create and disseminate hospital call schedule.
