About The Position

As a Supervisor, AR at XiFin you will be part of a high-performing team of AR professionals reporting directly to the Director, RCM. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading a team of onshore and offshore Reimbursement/AR Specialists within our Outsource Billing Department. You will collaborate with Account Managers to maximize customer reimbursement, build, and maintain relationships with key payors. Additionally, you will monitor the workflow and prioritize the workload to maximize collections and maintain performance metrics. This will include, but not limited to, updating edits within the billing system, working with customers/Account Managers as appropriate, and providing ongoing support and development of your team. This position will be located at our offices in Charleston, SC.

Requirements

  • Are detail-oriented, organized, and proactive
  • Communicate clearly and confidently, both in writing and in conversation
  • Are eager to learn, ask great questions, and work with others to solve problems
  • Possess the ability to translate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • BA/BS in Business, Finance, Healthcare, preferred, or applicable working experience
  • Prior leadership or supervisory of direct employees highly desired
  • Extensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable and understanding of properly working denials a must
  • 3-5 year's "hands-on" experience and in-depth knowledge with medical billing software, preferably in a cloud environment
  • Well organized and possess a strong attention to detail, flexible, and able to adapt easily to changes in high volume environments
  • Knowledge of insurance plans, medical terminology, and healthcare revenue cycle software
  • Technical skillsets, great follow up, and well versed in both written and verbal communications

Responsibilities

  • Direct supervision of up to 5+ onshore employees and oversight of up to 25 FTE offshore team members
  • Review operational productivity, effectiveness & quality for both on-shore and off-shore resources
  • Analyze and report significant trend anomalies and issues to Account Managers
  • Ensures the department meets billing compliance and customer reporting requirements
  • Supports initiatives towards clean claims submissions, denial management and resolution of provider or systemic issues
  • Ensure all documentation and Statements of Procedures (SOP's) are maintained and updated
  • Performance management of KPI's and annual reviews
  • Interviewing, hiring, and training new hires
