About The Position
The position involves overseeing financial operations related to accounts payable, ensuring that cash flow is managed effectively and that payments are made accurately and on time. The role requires the development of guidelines for handling invoices and maintaining accurate records in the general ledger. The individual will analyze expense reports and invoices for correctness and eligibility for payment, and will verify payments prior to the controller's approval. Monthly preparation and review of professional fees, as well as the timely preparation of budget reports and purchase journals, are also key responsibilities. The position includes reconciling accounts payable totals with the general ledger and ensuring proper recordkeeping for tax preparation and audits.
