Addresses age-specific needs of infants, toddlers, school age, adolescents, adults, older adults. Plans, organizes and provides services for the Rapid Response (including Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis) section of the Laboratory Oversees quality of the section and ensures compliance with applicable federal, state and CAP requirements. Supervises employees in the following sections: Chemistry, Urinalysis, Hematology, Coagulation, and Blood Gases. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Oversees all aspects related to the operation of the sections. Performs other work related duties as assigned or requested. Consistently provides service excellence to all patients, family members, visitors, volunteers and co-workers in a manner that reflects Falmouth Hospital’s commitment to CARES\: compassion, accountability, respect, excellence and service.
