About The Position

As a Supervising Creative Producer for the Stand Together partnership, you will oversee the creative strategy and production for one of Big Think Media’s largest, always-on partners. You will lead the production for all deliverables and own the relationship with Stand Together stakeholders. You will work closely with the wider Big Think Creative Studio team, as well as with the Executive Creative Director and Executive Producer on strategy and performance. You will have a passion for creating compelling, engaging and effective digital content, with extensive experience in multiple journalistic formats - including long-form documentaries, short-form social videos, written features and event programming.

Requirements

  • A talented, senior creative who can both manage/execute individual projects AND ALSO author a larger (seven figure) campaign strategy to help Stand Together meet their goals.
  • 5+ years of experience leading large-scale creative projects, spanning video, written and social
  • Keen understanding of various social platforms and knowledge of what content works best on each
  • Ability to craft a rough idea into engaging, high-performing content
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Experience directing and producing with celebrity and VIP talent.
  • Pro-active leadership approach
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and pitch in where needed
  • Ability to be passionate about the work without being precious. Must be discerning in how/where you focus your efforts for maximum impact
  • Openness to feedback and challenge
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed for special event programming.
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as creative lead for the Stand Together always-on programming. Stand Together is a philanthropic community that helps America's boldest changemakers tackle the root causes of our country's biggest problems. Please research their work and be excited about their mission.
  • Provide creative input into partnership proposals.
  • Analyze performance data and use it to inform creative decisions.
  • Build and manage relationships across the team - both internal and external
  • Oversee the creative execution of all content products - including videos, written articles, social content, content hubs, events - and provide feedback and guidance to team members
  • Keep teams in sync with the proposed timelines, brand guidelines, and project budgets
  • Collaborate with the Publishing team to integrate best practices and insights into future work.
  • Anticipate partner feedback and goals, and adjust strategy accordingly
  • Constantly be looking to innovate and bring fresh, creative ideas to the table
  • Assess and respond to difficult partner feedback with a positive, solution-focused mindset
