We provide vital support during life's most challenging moments, helping individuals heal, grow, and thrive. We're Hiring! We are seeking a Supervised Visitation Specialist to join our team! This part-time position is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for participants in the Supervised Visitation Program. This position coordinates and supervises visits through referrals from Family Court, DHS, and the community while maintaining safety for all involved. The schedule for this position is 20-29 hours per week, 2:30pm - 8:00pm for a minimum of 4 evenings each week, with some daytime hours needed.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
Ability to be assertive with parents to ensure that the visitation guidelines established by the referring worker are adhered to, and that child safety and well-being are ensured during visits.
Ability, knowledgebase, and skills necessary to make visual, physical, and mental assessment of clients and situations, utilizing approved social work methods.
Ability, knowledgebase, and skills necessary to conduct in-person visits and maintain telephone contact with clients.
Ability to work with a diverse population in ways that are culturally competent, non-judgmental, supportive and empowering.
Valid Wisconsin driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and minimum required auto insurance coverage.

Nice To Haves

Associate's degree in human services or related field
2+ years' experience in human services or social work field

Responsibilities

Supervise visitations to maintain safety between parents and their children in various locations (in the office, in the community, jails, prisons, and homes).
Maintain files on each participant in an organized, uniform, and timely manner as determined by program needs.
Record all client contact including home visits, written correspondence, court action, telephone call, group participation, and referrals.
Transport children or parents to and from visits.
Complete a written log of each visit utilizing the agreed upon form. Documentation of all contacts and attempts to schedule visitations are to be provided to the county worker.
