Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification, or willingness to obtain if necessary Completed Vehicle Use Authorization or willingness to obtain if necessary Ability to work with all ages of all populations in a variety of group sizes Excellent communication, organization, and conflict resolution skills Must be a UWS student in good academic standing Plan, prepare, lead, evaluate, and cleanup for trips ranging from hours to full weeks Market upcoming trips, programs, and special events to the campus community Log gear use and assist with evaluating for replacement Provide instruction to participants in a wide variety of outdoor skills Assist with the development and implementation of outdoor adventure programs for students, faculty and staff, and community members Communicate trip information and policies and procedures to staff and participants Market upcoming trips, programs, and special events to the campus community Learn proper belay Technique and Climbing Wall Policies Other duties as assigned
