Superintendent
About The Position
Bartek Construction Co., a San Antonio underground utility construction company, is currently seeking an experienced Superintendent/Project Manager. Bartek offers a competitive compensation package, including paid employee healthcare, short and long term disability, a $25,000 life insurance policy, company vehicle, competitive base pay, and a bonus program. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Oversee entire construction process from mobilization to close out. Maintain project schedule and coordinate department personnel and equipment accordingly. Monitor construction projects and ensure a successful and timely completion. Communicate details of the project to appropriate individuals, both with Bartek management, GC and Owner representatives as needed. Attend all production meetings. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Maintain administrative aspects of job, including marked prints, daily production reports, etc. Report and maintain reports for change order submission, if appropriate. Assist estimators in the bidding process.
Requirements
- Must demonstrate a sound understanding of underground utility installation and supervision of construction operations.
- Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of underground utility construction practices and methods.
- Must have experience with underground utility projects ranging from $250K to $2M range.
- Must have experience handling multiple jobs at the same time.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug testing.
- Basic Computer Skills.
Nice To Haves
- Degree a plus, but not required with appropriate experience.
- Osha 10 and First Aid/CPR training are a plus.
