About The Position

The Superintendent will serve as a key on -site leader responsible for the overall oversight and execution of multiple construction projects across the Jacksonville, FL market. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, adhering to safety regulations, building codes, and client specifications. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing residential new construction, commercial construction, or remodeling projects, with a strong understanding of MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing). The ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish is a valuable asset in this diverse market. Holding a Master License is highly preferred and will significantly strengthen a candidate’s qualifications. This position offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project supervision, preferably in residential new construction, commercial construction, or remodeling
  • Proven experience managing MultiFamily construction projects is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems and their integration within construction workflows
  • Valid Master License in Florida (or eligibility to obtain) is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project)
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is an asset
  • Excellent leadership, problem -solving, and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel between project sites within the Jacksonville metropolitan area

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across multiple construction sites, ensuring alignment with project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, labor and clients to maintain project momentum and resolve issues promptly
  • Enforce safety protocols and compliance with OSHA standards and local regulations
  • Monitor quality control and ensure work meets design specifications and industry standards
  • Manage subcontractor performance, scheduling, and documentation
  • Conduct regular site inspections and report progress to senior leadership
  • Maintain accurate records of project timelines, change orders, and material usage
  • Act as the primary on -site point of contact for clients, vendors, and regulatory authorities
  • Leverage bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders
