MISSION -The Cedar Ridge School District exists to provide an environment where everyone thrives through positive relationships, relevant experiences, and high expectations to develop successful individuals. VISION -Preparing today’s students to become tomorrow’s leaders. Job Goal: The Superintendent of Schools will act as the educational leader and chief executive officer of the school district, responsible for the effective execution of policies adopted by the district’s Board of Education. The Superintendent will assume administrative responsibility for the planning, operation, supervision, and evaluation of all educational programs, finances, support services, personnel, and facilities of the district. The Board is looking for a leader to do the following: Provide a physically, socially, and emotionally safe learning and working environment Demonstrate a passion for our work and commitment to our students Set high expectations and promotes excellence for both staff and students Always act with integrity and empathy Hold each other and ourselves accountable for excellence in everything we do Build mutually beneficial partnerships with parents and community stakeholders Honor achievement and promote pride in ourselves, in our school and in our community Create and sustain an environment in which each student is known, accepted and valued, trusted and respected, cared for, and encouraged to be an active and responsible member of the school and district community Develop workplace conditions for educators and staff that promote effective professional growth and student learning Be receptive to the changes accompanying LEARNS, embracing the new regulations with a positive attitude and collaborating with admins to ensure full compliance in all areas Provide educational leadership and executive direction to the Board of Education, schools, community, personnel, programs, activities, and operations of the district Assure compliance with established goals, objectives, and legal requirements concerning district administration and instruction Prepare the educational and financial budgets for approval of the Board of Education and Arkansas Department of Education.
