Department: Parks + Rec Location: Kansas City, MO Grade: 280 Salary: $76,980 - $98,134/year Job Duties Serves as General Manager of the Fred Arbanas Golf Course, overseeing all operations and aspects of this public golf facility. Supervises 4 full-time positions including two Golf Course Professionals, a Golf Course Maintenance Supervisor, Concession Coordinator, and a Division Coordinator, as well as 20 budgeted seasonal positions; formulates strategy, manages a diverse staff, provides direction, and establishes policy. Monitors the quality and sales of the Courses products and services to include golf equipment, apparel, and food products. Provides research and analysis to ensure current facility and program trends are met within budget and operational constraints. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in Parks and Recreation Administration, Business Administration or in a related field.
  • Six years of progressively responsible experience, including supervisory experience, in golf course general management, recreation, park administration, business or related field.
  • Must possess/maintain valid Driver’s License.
  • Must submit to/pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
