The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of onsite construction activities. Requirements

Minimum 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar field leadership role.
Experience overseeing federal construction projects (strongly preferred).
Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and industry best practices.
Proven ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors effectively.
Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and technical documents.
Knowledge of federal safety requirements and construction regulations.
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with daily reporting and construction management software.
Ability to work onsite full-time and travel to project locations as needed.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS)
OSHA 30 (required or obtained within 30 days of hire).
First Aid/CPR certification.
USACE CQM‑C certification.
Additional construction industry certifications are a plus.
OSHA 30 certification.
Professional certifications: CQE, CQA, or PMP are a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage and supervise daily field operations, subcontractors, and onsite personnel.
Ensure all work complies with project specifications, drawings, codes, and federal agency requirements.
Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, inspections, material deliveries, and equipment.
Monitor project progress and maintain the construction schedule, report changes or delays.
Enforce strict safety standards and ensure OSHA and federal safety requirements are followed.
Conduct daily site walks and safety meetings.
Collaborate with the Quality Control Manager (QCM) on inspections, testing, and documentation.
Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and field documentation.
Identify and resolve onsite issues promptly to minimize delays and disruptions.
Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for the government client, inspectors, and stakeholders.
Support punch list completion, project closeout, and turnover activities.
