KDK Construction, LLC seeks an experienced and proactive Superintendent to lead our commercial construction projects onsite in American Fork, UT. This critical role oversees daily operations, ensures compliance with project specifications, and builds strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. The ideal candidate is a self-driven leader dedicated to delivering projects on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of construction experience, with at least 3 years as a superintendent on commercial projects.
  • Proven experience using Procore for project management (scheduling, documentation) and Bluebeam for drawing reviews and annotations.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and contract compliance.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to manage multiple subcontractors and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
  • Ability to perform minor construction tasks (e.g., carpentry, door installation).

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 30 certification or experience with additional construction software (e.g., PlanGrid).

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily jobsite operations, coordinating subcontractors and resources to meet project milestones.
  • Ensure construction aligns with contract documents and schedules, delivering projects on time.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues to prevent delays or cost overruns.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors for smooth project execution.
  • Complete closeout requirements per contract documents.
  • Address action items from project meetings promptly.
  • Monitor compliance with project safety requirements to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Perform minor construction tasks as needed (e.g., hanging doors, rough carpentry).
