EVENT MERCHANDISE INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION-TIMELINE: This basic timeline will provide you with an idea of the diverse roles you will undertake. You will be involved in various tasks, including working with inventory processes and spending storefront. You will be able to collaborate with Legends staff and leading event specific merchandise and apparel manufacturers. This experience will offer you valuable insights into the overall operations across our partnerships. Assist in receiving all the merchandise for storefront Receive product cartons Conduct inventory processes Organize and distribute merchandise around storefront or assigned auxiliary location Assist with set-up and visual displays within storefront Work with national vendor representatives to move products into the store Design storefront layout and displays to enhance visual appeal and attract customers Work with visuals consultant and Legends staff to create and apply visuals throughout the Shops Assist in the final preparations of the merchandise facilities Create signage; Organize the point-of-sale stations; Train volunteers Event Week Assist our full-time merchandise staff in running storefront Manage temporary staff in various areas of the merchandise operation Coordinate with vendors on product related tasks and questions Resolving customer service issues and inquiring about customer satisfaction Implement design changes to store layout to improve customer flow Post Tournament Week Assist with the breakdown of the merchandise operations Assist with any post-event sales and load out process COMPENSATION: Paid hourly plus overtime – Standard Rate: $19.25 Staff uniforms provided for event days WORKING CONDITIONS Location: On Site The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
