About The Position
Stauffer Glove & Safety is seeking a full-time Warehouse Intern for a summer paid opportunity. This role is designed for individuals looking to gain hands-on work experience in a distribution center environment, focusing on the accurate and timely processing of customer orders and maintaining warehouse operations.
Requirements
- Minimum High School degree or GED equivalent.
- Ability to demonstrate basic math knowledge and aptitude to accurately pick customer orders.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the fulfillment of customers’ orders are processed accurately and timely.
- Responsible for staging orders appropriately for shipping.
- Ensures that the number and type of components are picked correctly for work order.
- Pack, stack and organize items properly in order to prevent damage and injury.
- Communicate product or stock outs to supervisor to ensure timely order selection.
- Re-stock inventory with manually operated equipment.
- Responsible warehouse housekeeping tasks as assigned.
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to.
