Overview: Skokie Country Club is seeking energetic, dependable, and hardworking individuals to join our Summer Tennis House Staff team. This position plays an important role in helping our racquets program run smoothly while creating a welcoming, organized, and Member-focused environment for Members and guests. Ideal Candidate: This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys being around sports, working as part of a team, and takes pride in meeting member needs while contributing to a fun summer atmosphere at the club.

Requirements

Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Reliable, punctual, and willing to help wherever needed
Able to work outdoors in warm summer conditions
Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment when needed
Must be 16 years of age or older

Nice To Haves

Tennis knowledge is helpful, but not required

Responsibilities

Assisting with daily setup and cleanup of the tennis and pickleball courts and surrounding areas
Keeping courts, seating areas, and racquets facilities neat, clean, and presentable
Helping with lesson, clinic, camp, and event setup for both tennis and pickleball programming
Picking up tennis balls and maintaining court supplies
Assisting the racquets professionals with junior and adult programming as needed
Anticipating and responding to member needs to help create a positive club experience
Providing excellent customer service and ensuring members and guests feel welcomed and taken care of
Helping with water, towels, equipment, and general housekeeping around the racquets area
Supporting special events, match days, and club activities throughout the summer
