About The Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Tennis Instructor for our summer camp program. This part-time position will involve teaching tennis to campers of various ages and skill levels, fostering a love for the sport while ensuring a fun, safe, and engaging environment.

Requirements

• Must be 17 years old
• Previous experience of teaching tennis or coaching, preferably in a camp or recreational setting.
• Strong knowledge of tennis techniques and rules of the game.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for working with children.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to work flexible hours during the summer season.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tennis lessons for campers aged 8-16 in a group setting.
• Tailor lessons to accommodate different skill levels, from beginners to advanced players.
• Assist in designing engaging lesson plans that promote skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Ensure the safety of all participants during tennis activities and adhere to camp safety protocols.
• Supervise campers during practice sessions and ensure proper conduct on and off the court.
• Encourage campers to develop their tennis skills and promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
• Provide constructive feedback and recognize individual achievements.
• Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and camp staff regarding progress and any relevant updates.
