We are currently taking applications for Summer Student- Production Associate at our Hudson Bay location to start in May 2026. The Hudson Bay OSB Mill is a market-focused quality Oriented Strand Board (OSB) operation. This mill site includes a Log Yard, Green End, Drying, Pressing, Finishing and Shipping depts., Maintenance/Engineering. The workforce of approximately 160 employees is represented by the United Steelworkers Union. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Summer Student - Production Associate is responsible for mill production activities in an assigned area of the Mill. We are seeking individuals who are committed to safety & have a desire to work in a manufacturing facility while maintaining a positive attitude and good work ethic.

Requirements

All applicants must have completed between 1 year and 3 years of full time post-secondary studies at a recognized educational institution.
All applicants must be returning to full time post-secondary studies in September of 2026.
Post-secondary graduates are not eligible to apply for the summer student position.
Steady documented work history.
Willingness to work a rotating shift, including weekends and holidays as operating conditions require.
Willingness to wear all required personal protective equipment.
Ability to work in extreme heat and cold.
Good communication skills.
Must be team oriented.
Ability to perform essential physical functions of the position, which may include climbing stairs, navigating catwalks, lifting, and bending.
Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment testing process.
Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
