About The Position

Summer intern will work one on one with a Research Fellow on the development of novel muscle insufficiency animal model in rats. The project involves animal surgeries, animal behavioral analysis, animal imaging, biomechanical testing of samples, and molecular biology analyses.

Requirements

• Must be a child, step-child, or spouse of a current Mayo Clinic employee.
• Must be currently enrolled in a degree granting program.
• Must be returning to college in the fall.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 10 weeks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older by the start of the program
• SEOP employees should not expect vacation/days-off to be approved during their commitment.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program
