Palmetto Moon is seeking a Seasonal Part-Time Sales Associate for the summer season. This role offers flexible scheduling, an employee discount, and a fun, high-energy work environment. The primary responsibility of the Sales Associate is to connect with and provide excellent service to customers. Palmetto Moon is a rapidly expanding specialty retailer focusing on apparel, accessories, home goods, and gifts that celebrate the Southern lifestyle. Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old to apply
Enjoys meeting and interacting with customers
Dependable and flexible with scheduled shifts
Willingness to learn and take direction
Detail oriented
Ability to bend, twist, stoop and stand on your feet for long periods of time and lift materials up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations

Responsibilities

Demonstrates excellent customer service and selling skills
Knowledgeable about all brands and sharing that knowledge with customers
Works as part of a team to meet individual and store objectives
Replenishes sales floor as needed, maximizing customer shopability
Maintains visibility on the selling floor, enhancing the service experience
Knows and properly executes Point of Sale procedures to ensure a quick transaction
Effectively handles multiple customers
Communicates effectively with associates and management
Packages customer merchandise with care
Minimizes shortage through floor presence and relentless customer service
