About The Position

Head Swim Team Coach for approximately 200 swimmers on the summer swim team and supervises 5 assistant coaches.
Responsible for setting up and running swim camps and pre-season tryouts.
Schedule summer swim meets.
Set up meet files.
Schedules available facilities to accommodate the number of swimmers participating weekly.
Reports directly to the Assistant Aquatics Manager and Aquatics Manager.
Attend all applicable meetings with coaches.

Requirements

• 21 years old or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license and pass drug and background tests.
• Ability to work well with young swimmers aged 5-18, supervisors, co-workers, parents, and the public.
• Employment in this position is conditional upon passing a pre-employment background and drug test.

Nice To Haves

• Current CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred.
• Previous coaching experience preferred.
• Familiar with Meet Manager and Team Manager programs.
