About The Position

Do you enjoy leading programs that create engaging and supportive experiences for students? We’re seeking a Summer Program Supervisor to oversee a structured, inclusive program serving high school and college participants who are blind or visually impaired. In this role, you’ll help shape a positive environment where students can build independence, connect with peers, and participate in a range of social, recreational, and learning activities throughout the summer experience. What You’ll Do As the Summer Program Supervisor, you will: Organize and manage the day-to-day operations of the summer program Provide guidance, supervision, and support to program staff Create a welcoming environment that prioritizes inclusion, engagement, and safety Monitor program activities to ensure adherence to policies and safety requirements Work closely with participants, families, and external partners to support program success Assist with outreach and hiring efforts and play an active role in delivering a 3-week summer program Schedule Hours will adjust in response to program requirements Schedule typically falls within standard daytime hours Must be available for recruitment efforts and fully commit to the three-week camp session Compensation $60,000 annual salary Requirements What We’re Looking For High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred At least two years of experience supporting individuals who are blind or visually impaired Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage staff effectively Strong verbal communication and organizational skills Experience organizing and facilitating group programs or activities Current driver’s license with dependable transportation Must successfully complete all pre-employment and ongoing drug screening requirements Benefits The Arc of Ocean County is Proud to Offer High Quality, Low Deductible Medical Insurance with $0 copay and An All Encompassing Prescription Coverage Plan. Requirements

High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
At least two years of experience supporting individuals who are blind or visually impaired
