The Perry Ellis International, Nike Swim team are currently looking for a Summer Merchandising Intern in Portland, OR!

Requirements

Pursuing a 4 year college degree
Currently enrolled and attending an accredited university
Strong interest in both merchandising and fashion
Knowledge of Google Applications including Excel/Google Sheets
Detail oriented and deadline driven
Ability to multitask
Excellent communication skills
Schedule is Monday through Thursday
Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal and external audiences.
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Ability to interact with varying personalities
Must have the ability to present a professional and informative product and trend assortment to internal and external audiences.
Proficient in MS Office and Google and Adobe Illustrator

Responsibilities

Collaborate and interface with all cross-functional teams including design, sales, product development, technical design, and marketing
Reviews quantitative selling reports to perform analysis on seasonal best/worst sellers
Shadow merchandising supervisor and attend meetings with cross functional teams
Prepared summaries of work status and present to merchandising supervisor
Create and maintain seasonal digital catalogs within Nuorder platform
Organize current and future season samples
Help analyze the competitive market in order to ensure pricing and brand positioning is in line with the completion
Prepare regular competitive shopping recaps using online and in store data
Perform trend research as needed
Participate in and help prepare for meetings, including market preparation with showroom samples and presentation boards
Help the merchandising and design teams with any additional tasks
