Are you a law student looking to gain hands-on experience within a fast-paced, global technology leader? Snyk is looking for smart, enthusiastic interns and externs to join our Legal Early Talent Program. This is a unique opportunity to develop business acumen and legal expertise at the intersection of cybersecurity and AI innovation. Whether you join us for an 11-week internship or a 14-week externship, you will work on cutting-edge projects that impact how modern organizations secure their software at scale.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment as a law student in good standing with a strong academic foundation.
  • Excellent writing, reasoning, and analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
  • A bias for action and the initiative to see solutions through to the end despite challenges.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.
  • Ability to work 24–40 hours per week (program dependent) on a hybrid basis from our downtown Boston office.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support special projects for the legal department across diverse areas including IP, Regulatory Matters, and Corporate Governance.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare memos or correspondence to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to review, draft, and analyze contracts that drive our business forward.
  • Influence how we manage legal risk in areas such as Marketing, Product, Employment Law, and Compliance.
  • Use your analytical skills to assist with complex matters like M&A and litigation support.
